Dubrovnik

Our most Southern Charter Base is situated in ACI marina Dubrovnik about 2 miles east of port Gruž.

After departing there are several possibilities to spend the first night. You can either sail to Zaton, where our team had a great experience dining in a restaurant on the sea.

Whatever you do, you must take the time to visit the Elafites. This is a small group of islands, situated just NW of Port Gruž. They are called Koločep, Lopud, Šipan and Jakljan. We recommend anchoring at Šipanska luka (Port Šipan) where you can get supplies and enjoy the stillness and harmony! You can go a bit further or save Broce and Ston for the next day. In Ston, you must climb to the city walls and try the oysters!

Mljet Island also has wonders to show! First stop when visiting Mljet from this side must be Saplunara Bay and Blaca lagoon, and Podškolj anchorage at SE part of Mljet Island. If you sail a bit further along NE coast of Mljet, you will get to Prožura Bay, which is protected by three beautiful islands called Snjevci.

Next stop on Mljet should be either Pomena or Polače Bays. You can walk from there to small and big lake and take a tourist boat to Sveta Marija Island (St. Mary) with a Benedictine Monastery. From there open sea towards Korčula and Lastovo awaits you. Don’t worry it’s not that far.

If you wish to explore more to the south, your first night should be Cavtat or Molunat, where you can get through customs and enter Montenegro. You should tell in advance that you intend to cross the border when you set off.

In Montenegro we recommend visiting Herceg Novi, Kotor, Budva and Sv. Štefan. You can sail further to the south where Ulcinj and Bar are the biggest tourist destinations.
